This program focuses in capacity
bulding for local community to prevent natural disasters, to cope with climate
change, to implement disaster relief plans, and to enhance management capacity
at grass root level.
A total of 1,117 trainers
at provincial level, 165 trainers at district and communal level have been
benefited from the Project 1002 , entitled “Improve management capacity for local
community in natural disaster prevention”. This program has been carried out in
555 communes in 142 districts of 36 cities and provinces nationwide.
